Been away from this blog for some time now. During this absence I have somehow managed to survive teaching for a term, writing 3 term papers and (gasp!) still having a social life. but of course what suffers is this blog, and to a lesser extent, my camera, which has had to endure weeks of neglect sitting amongst piles of books and papers.
some gardening has also been going on, I have managed to sustain 2 pots (now 5!) of strawberries in hot, humid Singapore. They don’t fruit anymore, but I blame the weather. The mint, lemon balm and Thai basil, however, love the climate here, and if all goes well I shall be harvesting a grand total of 3 passion fruits soon.
it’s May now, and soon we’ll be seeing lots of berries in the supermarkets. I should be expecting some of these in my house:)
